Jenny Halpin has been cultivating stories for television, newspaper, radio, and digital media, for more than 20 years. She began her career as a TV news reporter in Harlingen, Texas, near her hometown of Brownsville. After realizing there was a strong need for bilingual reporters, she moved to Cuernavaca, Mexico, where she immersed herself and studied the language and culture. While Jenny became fluent in Spanish, she also helped gather news for a major news network in Mexico, TV Azteca, in their Cuernavaca bureau. She eventually returned to her Texas roots and worked for an ABC affiliate in San Antonio, KSAT 12, for about five years, where she covered stories throughout Texas, Mexico, and other Latin American countries.
In 2006, she made a leap into the medical field, overseeing marketing and public relations for a San Antonio cancer facility. After the emergency birth of her first child, she took a brief break from her career to care for her growing family. Jenny eventually began freelance writing for several media outlets and businesses, and continues to do so along with managing public relations for a number of companies, both locally and nationally. She carefully strategizes content for businesses in the healthcare, finance, retail, legal, construction, and educational fields, and is an expert at identifying promotional opportunities for her clients.
